Hand engraving
Jewellery can be engraved using an engraving machine and a computer, or by hand. At Katie g. Jewellery we offer hand engravings only. We work with a single extremely talented engraver in Vienna who is a true artist in his field. Hand engravings offer endless creative possibilites. Furthermore hand engravings are deeper than mechanical ones, making them last forever.

Whether its a Logo, a certain pattern, or a any font you can think of, the choice is yours. The only thing that limits your options is the size of the piece that is to be engraved. For slimmer rings we recommend to keep it simple and to use sans serif or serif fonts. While it is possible to engrave script fonts on such small surfaces, more complex fonts can be harder to read in such a small size. With wider rings you have all the options.
Engraved Handwriting
One of the most beautiful personal touches are engraved handwritings. Carry your partners personal signature with you for life. All we need is a scan of the text you would like to have engraved. If you are interested in this option please get in touch to discuss the details.
How to engrave your online order
During check out, please click the engraving check box. In the text box, provide us with as much detail about the content and style of your engraving as possible.
We will contact you within 1-2 working days with suggestions, a cost offer and additional questions, should we have any.
Once we have finalised your design, you will receive a document for your approval.
Once approved we will get right to it. Engravings may take up to 1 week to be completed once the design has been finalised.
